We might be waking up with some showers, but the rain should subside after the morning rush hour until late this evening, according to the National Weather Service. Here’s hoping that we also see a break in the clouds when we take our walk to grab lunch this afternoon.

- If you wanted more bicycle parking near the Clinton Hill Fulton Bikes shop, you’ve got a reason to cheer. The New York City Department of Transportation has installed a new parking corral right in front of the store, Brownstoner reported. What do you think about the change on Fulton Street, locals?
- In less than month the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s R&B Festival at MetroTech begins its 20th summer of free concerts. The festival, happening June 6 to August 8, features R&B legends as well as emerging artists during the 10 free outdoor concerts. Just check out the schedule to find out when you should head to the concert stage, located on the lawn at MetroTech Commons – between Jay Street and Flatbush Avenue where Myrtle Avenue ends.
