To the displeasure of summer lovers, temperatures have dipped by around 20 degrees today, according to the National Weather Service, but at least we’re not dealing with soaking rain like we had last week. If you make it out this afternoon to enjoy the mild air, don’t forget to grab a few photos and share them in The Nabe’s Flickr group.

- We spied one of the nabe’s beautiful wood-framed row houses at 357 Washington Avenue has been posted for sale on Streateasy.com. The Italianate home, built in 1860 at the same time of its twin at 355 Washington, was landmarked as part of the Clinton Hill Historical District in 1981. Check out the post for view of the interior, or if you’ve got the $2,599,000 asking price there’s open houses on May 17 and 18.
- Yesterday was the deadline to submit comments for the Atlantic Yards project’s Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement and the Atlantic Yards Report took the occasion to talk about the site’s delayed buildout. A delay in construction, and the affordable housing planned in the final buildings, rides the wave of gentrification, according to the blog. What do you think, locals?
- Community Board 2′s next general meeting is coming up tomorrow night and there will be two presentations – one on pending changes at the Auburn Family Shelter and another about state initiatives to increase immigrant participation in economic and civic life. The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. and will be held at the YWCA at 30 Third Avenue, between Atlantic Avenue and State Street.
