- In addition to lost dogs, we’ve also got a lost bird in the nabe, Fort Greene Patch reported. A yellow parakeet named “Lemi” from Brooklyn Heights has taken up residence in Fort Greene, according to people who have sighted the bird on Flatbush Avenue and in Fort Greene Park. If you’ve got any tips, even bad news, the owners ask you contact them.
- Modern luxury apartments are finding residents, even in the outskirts of Brooklyn, according to the New York Observer. A Clinton Hill condo at 260 Greene Avenue with copper-lined windows, priced with units from $899,000 to $1.35 million, was among the homes chosen to illustrate the trend. - We learned more about the inaugural season of Camp Fort Greene, a local summer camp for 4- to 6-year-old children, on DNAinfo. Camp activities could include anything from hanging out in Fort Greene Park or Carlton Bears Community Garden, to dancing at the Music in the Grove summer children’s concert series, touring local art studios. There’s still room if you haven’t found a spot for your little tyke.
