“Why I Make Art”: Talking to Local Artists on the SONYA Art Walk

This past weekend, South Of the Navy Yard Artist members welcomed locals into home studios and displayed their work in galleries and local businesses in Fort Greene and Clinton Hill for the fifteenth annual Art Walk. We visited six artists, working in mediums from wood carving to printmaking, and asked them why they make art and what inspires them.
